Use of Our Website

If you provide us with personal data as a user of our website, we use it exclusively to respond to your inquiries and for technical administration.

When you visit our website, our web server automatically stores information such as:

  2. Operating system used
  3. Address (URL) of the previously visited page (referrer URL)
  4. Sub-pages accessed on our website
  5. Date and time of access
  6. Hostname and IP address of the accessing device
  7. Internet service provider of the accessing system

These are stored in files (web server log files). The data serves to protect against dangers in case of attacks on our IT systems. They are also necessary to correctly deliver and optimize the content of our website, ensure the long-term functionality of our IT systems and technology, and provide law enforcement agencies with information necessary for prosecution in case of a cyberattack.

Contact

When you contact us via our website, phone, post, or email, we process the personal data you voluntarily provide (e.g., salutation, title, name, contact information, and the content of your message). We process this data to handle your contact request and to fulfill our (pre-)contractual obligations.

Registration on Our Website

When you register on our website, we process the data you voluntarily provide (name, email, profession/function, IP address assigned by the ISP, date and time of registration, password). If a purchase follows, the email address is linked with the data obtained during the purchase. We process this data to handle your registration, set up your user account, fulfill our (pre-)contractual obligations, and offer you content or services available only to registered users. You can change or delete your registration data at any time. Upon account deletion, your provided data and the link to the purchase data will be deleted.

Business Relationship

When we supply you with goods, we process your contact information (name, address, phone number, email, position, bank details). We also process data about your company (name, address, contact information, contact person), contract data, payment terms, and details about services provided. This processing is for fulfilling our (pre-)contractual obligations.

Webshop

To simplify the purchasing process and later contract processing, the following data is collected: name, address, email, company name, VAT number, order date, order number, payment method, shipping method, order details, and costs. Session cookies may be used to facilitate the purchase process. The session cookies contain no personal data.

The data you provide is necessary to fulfill our (pre-)contractual obligations. Data is not shared with third parties, except:

  • For transmitting credit card data to banks/payment service providers for payment processing
  • To transport/shipping companies for delivering the goods
  • To our tax consultant to comply with tax obligations.

If the purchase process is canceled, the data entered will be stored for four weeks and then deleted. In the case of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored for the duration of the contract and beyond, as long as legal claims may arise, unless there are longer legal retention obligations (e.g., tax-related).

Newsletter

With your consent, we process your personal data (name, email) to provide you with information about our products that may be of interest to you. With your express consent, we may also share your data with third-party organizations for specific marketing purposes.

You can withdraw your consent at any time without giving reasons and with future effect (e.g., by emailing info@foodies.com or by clicking the “unsubscribe” button in the marketing emails).

If you are not an existing customer, we will only send you marketing emails if you have given your explicit consent under Art 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can object to both types of use at any time by contacting us.

Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

We only disclose your personal data to the extent necessary for contract processing or billing to:

Newsletter data is stored until you withdraw your consent or for a maximum of three years after your last contact.

Your data will be deleted if you revoke your consent, if the purpose of storage is no longer applicable, or if storage is legally inadmissible. Mandatory retention obligations (e.g., under tax law) remain unaffected.
